Description

This black and white photograph features a couple performing a skit depicting an era from the early college years at the 50th-year celebration for Fort Hays Kansas State College. A man and a woman are performing a skit on a stage. The man is standing to the woman's left and wearing slacks with a light-colored turtleneck sweater and boater hat. The woman is wearing a dark-colored sailor dress with a belt around her waist. The couple stands behind a fake fence, each holding a pennant with the letters FHN for Fort Hays Normal School. Behind the couple is a painted background depicting the old Fort Hays blockhouse. Surrounding the skit are dark stage curtains and a dark stage skirt.
