Description
This black and white photograph features couples dancing together at the Fort Hays Kansas State College 50th anniversary. It was celebrated in the Sheridan Coliseum in 1952 with other couples seen in the background. The couple to the left is a woman in a long, solid-colored, cap-sleeved dress and a man wearing a dark suit jacket and dress shirt. The couple to the right is a woman wearing a sheer blouse with a camisole under it paired with a long vertical-striped skirt, and her dance partner is wearing a light-colored suit and dress shirt. Seen between these couples is another with a man wearing a light-colored suit dancing with a woman wearing a long, dark, satin skirt.
