The black-and-white photo shows a man and a woman standing on a stage to perform a skit. The man stands to the left of the woman and is dressed in a World War I military uniform. The woman is wearing a long, dark cloak over a nurse’s uniform. Behind the couple is a painted background depicting the old Fort Hays blockhouse in a grass field. Surrounding the stage on all sides are dark stage curtains and a dark stage skirt.
