Description

This black and white photograph features the 1952 stage actors performing a skit for Fort Hays Kansas State College’s 50th Anniversary. The two actors are on a stage with the Old Fort Hays Blockhouse painted as the background scenery or backdrop. The actor in the back is a man with a light-colored crew cut, wearing a light suit jacket, collared shirt, and dark pants while aiding a young woman using a mounted, large, antique telescope that stands on a wooden roller stand. The actress in the front is a woman with short, dark, rolled hair, wearing a medium-length, dark dress and a jacket, and standing next to the other actor while looking through the telescope.
