Description
This black and white photograph features a skit titled “A Custer Hall Scene” performed at the 50th anniversary celebration for Fort Hays Kansas State College. Five women are on a portable stage performing a skit in Sheridan Coliseum. Behind the women, four men sit watching the performance. The woman in the far-right corner of the scene is dressed in a long-sleeve shirt, knee-length pants, and light-colored shoes. She sits on a chair directly behind a condenser microphone with one of her legs pulled up. To her left, another woman lounges on a bed with a striped bedspread while wearing a light-colored nightgown. A bucket is on the right side of the bed, and another woman wearing a light-colored shirt sits at the foot of the bed. On the left edge of the photograph, another woman wearing light-colored pajamas stands behind a waist-high table where the fifth woman, also wearing a light-colored nightgown, sits.
