Abstract
The purpose of this abstract is to relate the nature of the problems encountered in the creative process as described in the title of this thesis. This creative thesis was an outgrowth of an assumption by the writer that a satisfactory means of pursuing his search for personal expression could be found through wood and ceramic forms.
