Abstract
This paper is a report on an action-research project carried on at the Holyrood Grade School in Holyrood, Kansas. The information compiled here is the results of nearly eighteen months of study and experimentation in the functional use of an Instructional Materials Center in the Improvement of Instruction. After months of study and planning, the materials center was opened for use January 1, 1961 and has been in operation ever since. The problems and advantages are discussed in this report.
