Abstract
The writer, in an attempt to encourage the free-reading habits of seventh grade students, has felt a definite need for a list of good books of different classes. This list would serve as a ready source for making recommendations to students according to their interests. A great number of bibliographies were available, but none could be found by the writer which would give an overall view of reading interests and still be concise enough for use as a quick reference. It is from this felt need for an easily accessible reference list that the basis for this study arose. Specifically stated, the problem of this study is the preparation of an annotated bibliography, organized under classified topics to meet the reading interests of seventh grade students.
