Abstract

My body of work consists of three types of art: photography, ceramics, and acrylic paintings. Each piece I create in one medium has characteristics found in the others. To keep my work balanced, I approach photography formally, painting expressively, and ceramics with a mixture of both. Each type of art I create compliments the others through imagery, line, form, color, and texture. My experiences are reflected through my art using different treatments of technique and artistic expression.
