Abstract

My thesis reveals my reflections from the farm. For years, I have witnessed my husband’s family suffer through rough times and hope for a smoother future. Farming is tough. There are storms, machinery breakdowns, and endless disasters. My paintings are full of symbols and techniques that tell a story about transitions in life and about farming.
