Abstract
As an artist, I work in a dynamical, nonlinear system. Each finished art work can best be described as a strange attractor in my system. The number of variables that lead to my art have increased over the years and could best be described as a Butterfly Effect equal to the annual migration of Monarchs to Mexico. My art changes and grows every day. The things I learn about past works are ever expanding. Even the seemingly simple task of writing an artist statement can cover only a single point in time and space, with the Butterfly Effect kicking in to change the statement the next day.
