Abstract

My thesis work is rooted in a personal fascination with the forms, designs, and colors found in nature, as well as a desire to express through gesture a celebration of life. I chose the adjective “liniform” for my thesis title because, as a synonym for curvilinear and sinuous, I feel it best expresses the lyrical linear gestural quality I have sought in the forms of this work.
