Abstract

My work taps the primal, spiritual forces within myself, while at the same time, it symbolizes the essence of universal primal energies. My paintings are an expression of the melding of the emotional, spiritual world and the concrete, physical world. Painting is a visceral response to the primal energies flowing through myself and nature. Total emersion of self in the painting process is vital to the expressive nature of my work. The direct, immediate technique of applying paint records my personal reactions to the process.
