Abstract

The problem of this thesis was to determine the relative effectiveness of the use of the workbook as a teaching device in teaching certain high school subjects in the Junior-Senior High School of Garden City, Kansas. The investigation was carried on through the full cooperation of the city superintendent of schools and also with certain selected teachers in certain selected subjects, in grades seven to twelve inclusive.
