Abstract
The intent of this thesis work is to explore the meaning of the teapot form in clay. This exhibition represents the manifestation of that theme through clay sculptures and drawings. There is no presumption on that part of the artist that this should be an all-inclusive statement about the teapot form. Specific limits of clay body and firing temperature are self-imposed from the onset that by their very nature limit the scope of this exploration through the teapot theme. It is, however, important that this visual discussion of the teapot form broaden our general understanding of what teapots are about.
