Abstract
History has been recorded in countless ways down through the ages. My photographs provide, for me, a visual history of the places I’ve visited. Some of these buildings are gone now; many of the events will not occur again. Man preserves much beauty but he also destroys much. Nature fights back and heals the wound eventually, but it takes many years.
