Abstract
I view the figure as an inexhaustible source of subject matter and inspiration due, in part, to its wide range of viewer accessibility. In this exhibition I have attempted to portray an often ignored aspect of the human condition; namely the innately ingenuous. The sitters are portrayed as they are. Formalistic considerations and embellishments were kept to a minimum as it was felt they would degrade the relationship and honesty of the complete undertaking.
