Abstract

My work in fibers at this time is very strongly influenced by the Kansas landscape and plant life. This comes partly from early, very strong, visual images, the changing sky, the gentle rolling hills, the shadows moving over the land, changing the patterns of darks and lights, and the plant forms with their infinite variety, stout and firm, to light and airy.
