Abstract
Combining the techniques of casting and fabrication has become my primary approach in making jewelry. The castings usually come first. This gives me a wealth of ideas that I can develop while designing and fabricating the remainder of the piece. I attempt to enhance the original casting by choosing a shape that has been used an almost infinite number of times before and searching for a new relationship in an effort to make a personal statement.
