Abstract

The robust shape of the pear furnishes me with an abundance of ideas which I fully develop with the use of color, texture, and line. Through my exploration of this single shape I have discovered how it can be altered and manipulated to achieve maximum creativity. The pear shape emanates intrigue by seeming massive and full, and yet at the same time the shape possesses light, lyrical quality, of marvelous freshness and crispness radiated by its presence.
