Abstract

Slimflower scurfpea (Psoralea tenuiflora) was artificially removed from one-half of a grazed area and one-half of a fenced area at six different 180 m2 locations on a loamy upland range site in the Mixed Prairie of west-central Kansas. The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of slimflower scurfpea on understory vegetation, water relationships, grazing, and microenvironmental factors.
