Abstract
The primary purpose of this study was to determine the concepts of superintendents in selected public school districts in Nebraska regarding their priorities of competencies in educational administration which they believe superintendents should possess. The secondary purpose was to research the relationship between these concepts and the various characteristics of the superintendents who hold them.
