Abstract
For me to simply create is not enough. There must be meaning before, during, and after the development of each sculptured form. I must become a part of the meaning, to think it, feel it, live it, whatever, in order to achieve a sense of profound involvement. The amount of this involvement determines each form's success. Thus, my thesis has been directed around the meaning of growth and to achieve its formation within my sculpture. A moving growth, as though the form could continue, without end. The manuscript contains photographic slides not appended to this PDF.
