Abstract
What you will find here I call Pieces of time. Time happens all at once: yesterday is today is tomorrow is yesterday is now. The work happens now, it happened yesterday and it will happen tomorrow. I make no apologies for its grotesqueness, for its crudeness, for its coldness. Art is life. Life is grotesque, crude, and cold. My medium is assemblage: taking pieces of life and putting them together and enclosing a section of time to be viewed and pondered like a caged animal. The manuscript contains photographic slides not appended to this PDF.
