Abstract

La literatura contemporanea espanola empieza con la llamada "Generacion del 1898". Este nombre se aplica colectivamente al grupo de autores mas directamente afectados por la decadencia de Espafia desde un punto de vista espiritual, cuyo punto esta representado por la catastrofe producida en la guerra con los Estados Unidos. [Contemporary Spanish literature begins with the so-called "Generation of 1898." This name is applied collectively to the group of authors most directly affected by the decline of Spain from a spiritual point of view, whose point is represented by the catastrophe produced in the war with the United States.]
