Abstract
Exploring seems to be the word which sums up the artist's search for innovations in almost every direction in sculpture. New relationships of forms, colors, lights, sounds, textures, and materials were sought to achieve the right combination for each piece. Improbable matching materials refer to an interest on the the part of the artist to the unusual combinations and sequences of such materials as leather, painted plastic, wood, chrome, aluminum, velvet, fur (artificial and real) and many more. The artist feels that through the combination of materials with regard to other sculptural values a form of mystical personal symbolism can be obtained within, and relayed through the object to the viewer, as the viewer wishes to interpret it.
