Abstract

Problems of increased enrollments at every educational level, mounting shortages of qualified teachers, insufficient and inadequate school plants, and demands for more school tax support constantly confront the American public for solution. At the same time these straight-forward problems of providing each youngster with a classroom and teacher are taxing our ingenuity and pocketbooks, the space race, automation, and recent technological developments are demanding curriculum revisions and a re-examination of the efficiency of our traditional methods of instruction.
