Abstract
Jesse C. Denious was the editor and publisher of the Dodge City Daily Globe from 1910 until his death in 1953. He served in the Kansas Senate from the thirty-seventh district from 1933 to 1 941, and was the Lieutenant Governor of Kansas from 1943 to 1947. This biographical study briefly covers the early years of Mr. Denious' life before and after moving to Dodge City in 1910. However, major consideration has been taken in reconstructing the political, social, and economic activities and interests of Mr. Denious during his tenure in public office from 1933 to 1947.
