Description
This black and white photograph features the expedition campground. Two tents are erected side by side with six people in front. Mr. and Mrs. Hors Wange are sitting on the left two chairs. Mr. Wange has his hat on his lap and is looking at the photographer. Mrs. Wange is looking at the expedition group. They were the hosts from the Argentine Meteorological Station. Elmer Riggs sits to the right of Mrs. Wange and is holding a camera. George Sternberg is on the right side and is looking through the camera lens. Calvin Harold Riggs is squatting behind the men in the middle in order to view the camera. A man referred to as "Otto the German cook" stands to the right behind the group with his hand on a tent rope. He is slightly blurred.
