Description

This black and white photograph is a panoramic group photo of everyone on a ship. The captain and crew are in the center. Numbers are written on each person. There is a total of 57 people. George Sternberg is the standing person that is the second from the left. He has the number 3 written on him. Men, women, and children are in the group. Children are sitting on the floor. Men and women are seated in the second row. Men and women are standing in two rows. They are staggered so that the back row can be seen between the other people's shoulders. The ship's stairs are on the right and the upper deck is in the background. The ship deck is in the foreground. The photograph is overexposed.
