Description

This black and white photograph is a panoramic group photo of everyone on a ship. The captain and crew are in the center. George Sternberg is the standing person that is the second from the left. Men, women, and children are in the group. Children are sitting on the floor. Men and women are seated in the second row. Men and women are standing in two rows. They are staggered so that the back row can be seen between the other people's shoulders. The ship's stairs are on the right and the upper deck is in the background. The ship deck is in the foreground. The photograph is overexposed and has a gray smudge slightly left of the center.
