Description

This black and white photograph features two men standing behind the skeleton of a Trachodon that Levi Sternberg discovered. The skeleton stretches from one end of the photo to the other. One of the fossil feet can be seen on the left side. Charles H. Sternberg, left, and Levi Sternberg, right, are standing on the left side of the photo; Levi has his foot propped up. Charles is holding an axe in his right hand. Loose rocks from where the excavated area is visible. Handwriting is below the photograph.
