Description
This black and white photograph features a river winding its way through a valley. The Red Deer River is the major focus point of this photo. Outcroppings are along the left bank, while the motorboat used by the Sternberg team is anchored near the shore in the lower part of the river. Trees line the shore on the other side of the river and outcroppings are in the background. Across the river from the motorboat stands a barn, a log house and another building. A ferry dock is right on the shore. Handwriting is below the photograph.
