Description

This black and white photograph features several concretion-capped pinnacles in front of a flat-topped rock formation. Jack McGee is standing next to one of the pinnacles. He is wearing a dark shirt with dark pants and suspenders. McGee is also wearing a narrow-brimmed hat and has a mustache. The brush is pictured in different parts of the canyon. Sand is also seen throughout the coulee, with many different layers of sediment throughout the pinnacles. Handwriting is below the photograph. The image is in Charles H. Sternberg's book "Hunting Dinosaurs on Red Deer River, Alberta, Canada, Figure 19." The description is on page 66.
