Description
This black and white photograph features the Pierre and Belly River Formations in Alberta, Canada. In the foreground of the photo, the sloped area of the Belly River Formation is home to some grass and sagebrush. In the middle of this area, the sandstone formation is cracked and weathered. Farther back, the flat area of the Belly River Formation holds some shrub brush but is mostly rocks and dirt. The Pierre Formation is at the top right section of the photograph above the Belly River Formation. Handwriting is below the photograph.
