Description
This black and white photograph features a portrait of Holly Sylvester Chadd and his bride Eloise with their attendants Otto Francis Chadd and Leona Keller - Mrs. Chadd is wearing a light dress and a veil and holding a bouquet of flowers while sitting in a chair, Mr. Chadd is wearing a suit and is sitting on the arm of the chair. Otto Chadd and Leona Keller are standing behind them, and he is wearing a suit and she is wearing a light colored dress and is carrying a bouquet of flowers. H.S. Chadd ordered the photograph. Note from the niece of Holly and Otto: Holly Sylvester Chadd and his bride Eloise are pictured here with his brother Otto Francis Chadd and an unidentified woman; Holly Sylvester died the following year at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center in 1918 from the Spanish Influenza Epidemic. He is buried in Seward Cemetery. Note: The bride's attendant's name is Leona Keller. (From an email from Connie Thompson, August 6, 2017).
