Artist's Statement
My work isn’t just something to express myself, it is to express for those who can’t. Every piece I make isn’t just personal to me but personal to the ones who will see it. Through my art I drive to speak for the mute, see for the blind, express for the lost, and create for the uncreator. My pieces will express my thoughts, my feelings, and my beliefs to connect to those who think, feel, and believe the same. Every time I create something I think of my “why”. When someone looks at my pieces I want them to understand their why or even ask why. I want to draw something new out of something that has been hidden. Express a feeling of comfort and peace while making you wonder why. My pieces will always have a piece of my beliefs, I share my beliefs through my art. Liked or not, someone will connect to it and feel seen. My art is to express for those who can’t express.
