Abstract
- Polarization is something that has the potential to impact many aspects of daily life. The purpose of this study was to look at polarization in comparison to higher education funding allocations.
- A state-level analysis of 49 U.S. states from 1993-2010 was conducted.
- Overall, there was a statistically significant finding that as polarization increases, higher education allocations decrease
