Abstract
Competency based education helps to develop skills for nursing students to help them prepare for graduation and the workforce. Concept based nursing delivers knowledge to students and can help to build some clinical judgement and critical thinking. Globally there is a shift moving toward competency-based education attempting to allow nursing students appropriately apply their conceptual knowledge in a clinical setting.
