Abstract
The Dobot Magician is an all-in-one robot designed by the company Dobot for the purpose of teaching robotics. The magician is supposed to be able to grab things with both a pneumatic gripper and suction cup, draw, 3D print, and laser engrave. The original goal for this investigation was to determine the functionality of the Dobot Magician regarding repeatability and accuracy. The accuracy of a robot can be understood as the difference between where the robot is programmed to go to, and where the robot is in space. Repeatability is the ability of the robot to return to the same point in space over repeated tests.
