Continued fraction: A research on Markov triples

Abstract

Our research aimed at findings interesting patterns in continued fractions. The ultimate goal of our study was to build a connection between the roots of the quadratic equation that associate with Markov triples and continued fractions. Me (Daheng Chen) and my professor, Dr. Hongbiao Zeng, met once a week to develop and maintain our research progress. We did not reach our final goal in the end but found some exciting patterns in our research.
