Abstract
Higher education is constantly undergoing transformation in order to meet the ever-changing needs of students. Educators must develop and implement methods to capture and maintain students’ attention (Strickland & Kaylor, 2016). Today’s students prefer rapid feedback with activities that promote learning, rather than lecture (Boctor, 2013). Educators are challenged to accommodate a variety of different learning styles. Game-based learning has the potential to help meet these goals (Gallegos, Tesar, Connor, & Martz, 2017).
