Description
This black and white photograph features a horse and two women on a trolley car. A sign for permits is on the door above the horse. Cherrelyn. Colo. Is printed on the side of the structure. The horse pulled passengers up a hill South Denver, through what was then Orchard Place until it arrived at the Cherrelyn Horse Car that took them from Broadway and Hampden up the hill to the shopping center at Cherrelyn (Broadway and Quincy). The horse was loaded onto the trolly when people were ready to return and it rolled back down to it's original location.
