This photograph, taken about 1874, was so faded by the passing years that most of the detail is lost in reproduction. The scene is M.S. Ingalls drug store on Main Street in Halstead. Old Timers here have identified some of the men in the picture. They are (left to right) - 1, "Black" John I. Davis; 3. Frank Miller; 5 Alan "Coonskin" Miller; 6. Si Hinkson; 11. M.S. Ingalls; 12. Owen Jones; 13. O.J. Hildreth; 14. George Sweesy.
