The Buildings and Facilities Collection consists of primary source materials from the University Archives relating to the planning, construction, and dedication of the buildings on campus. Items in the collection include meeting minutes, memorandums, plans, programs, newspaper clippings, and other ephemera.

The letters back and forth debate the requirement of Fort Hays to join the state regulation list, as well as if they will be needing to cover their own costs for joining the association, as well as paying for expenses for the testers to survey the livestock. Cursive handwriting on the front page is transcribed.
