Description
This black and white photograph features the Fort Hays Normal building on the Golden Belt Fairgrounds, which was built by male students of the college in 1916. Flags from different countries hang from the front of the building. The first floor was used for college exhibits; the second floor contained a lounge and refreshment stand. The Golden Belt Fairgrounds was originally located where Lewis Field Stadium and Stadium Place Apartments currently stand.
