Description
This color photograph features a stained-glass window above a glass door at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pfeifer, Kansas. The digital photograph shows a gothic arch doorway with a quatrefoil stained-glass depiction of Jesus and four angels. The quatrefoil is in a circle, and below the circle to the left and right are smaller trefoils in the wood frame. The window is embedded in a limestone wall with Corinthian columns on both sides. A blue cloth is draped across Jesus, coming down from his left shoulder and covering his left arm and legs. He is sitting on clouds in front of a wooden cross. The angel on the left wears a red robe and carries an open book facing outward. The angel on the right wears a green robe and is playing a horn. Two angels float behind the arms of the cross above Jesus's head.
