Description
This color photograph features a decorative grotto on the grounds of St. Joseph Catholic Church. The grotto is behind a flower garden with irises and a trimmed evergreen on the right. The grotto is built of piled stones with an alcove and a statuette of the Virgin Mary at the top. Behind the grotto are more trimmed evergreens and two limestone buildings with red Spanish tile roofs. The church on the left has gothic arched windows of stained glass. The limestone house on the right has square glass block windows and a bird feeder hanging from the eave of the roof where the shorter half of the building meets the taller half.
