Description
This black and white photograph is of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hays, Kansas. This Volga German Building has a limestone exterior. Three short trees grow in front of the building. Three wooden doors can be seen behind the trees. Cement steps lead up to all three doors, including the center double doors. One stained glass window is above each door. Two smaller windows are directly above the middle window. Above that, three more louvered window-like vents are in the middle section of the bell tower. At the top of the tower is a small dome with windows adorning it and a cross at the very top. A message board stands in the bottom right corner.
