Description
This photograph, taken in the 1950s, shows a campsite with one man inside a canvas tent and another standing near the entrance. The ground is grassy, and a bush barely shows in the bottom left corner. Inside the tent there are several camping stools and a folding table with boxes, dishes, and other containers stacked on and around it. A pole in the middle of the entryway and ropes with stakes attached, which extend to either side of the tent, assist in holding up the tent. To the right of the tent is a tall milk can, a gas can, and several canvas bags. A wooden picket fence is located behind the farthest bag. Two cars are parked behind the tent, one on each side. On the left, a shed is visible behind the car, but the rest of the background is obscured by trees.
